Appliance types and symptoms to report
- LED and LCD TV · Check whether audio continues when the screen goes dark.
- QLED and Mini-LED TV · Record whether uneven brightness appears on the home menu and all inputs.
- OLED TV · Distinguish temporary image retention from persistent marks across inputs.
- Smart TV · Compare streaming, menu and HDMI behaviour.
- Plasma and CRT TV · Share the exact model and whether the problem started suddenly.
Faults you can discuss
- No power · Record standby light behaviour and any clicking. Diagnosis separates input power, standby circuits and startup faults.
