Which symptoms are useful to report?

No power

  • Record standby light behaviour and any clicking. Diagnosis separates input power, standby circuits and startup faults.

Lines or half picture

  • Check whether lines also appear on the built-in menu. The technician can evaluate panel, connector and processing faults.

Sound without picture

  • Audio continuing with a dark image helps narrow diagnosis. LCD backlights and OLED panel systems need different checks.

HDMI and Wi-Fi faults

  • Test one known working source or compare the home menu before booking. Share the app or input affected.

LED backlight replacement

  • Check for sound with a dark screen and confirm whether backlight strips or their driver have failed.

Power supply and main board

  • Inspect standby behaviour, boot loops, input faults and power interruptions before recommending a board repair or replacement.

Display panel assessment

  • Check cracks, persistent lines and half-screen faults. Discuss panel availability and whether the estimate makes sense for the TV.

Speaker and input diagnosis

  • Compare built-in sound and external inputs to separate speakers, ports, software and source equipment.
