Which symptoms are useful to report?

Runs but won’t heat

  • Record the selected mode and exact symptom. Internal high-voltage components require professional diagnosis.

Sparking

  • Stop use and disconnect power if safe. Share where sparks appeared and whether cookware or cavity damage was involved.

Turntable stops

  • Inspect the removable tray and roller placement when cool. Some models can disable rotation or use a flatbed design.

Door or keypad faults

  • A latch fault can prevent startup. A damaged door or enclosure needs professional inspection before further use.

Heating system diagnosis

  • For no-heat faults, a technician checks the door interlocks and the model-specific high-voltage circuit.

Magnetron or inverter replacement assessment

  • Discuss model compatibility and the cost of replacement only after confirming the failed part.

Turntable motor and coupler

  • Check the tray, support ring and coupler before quoting the drive motor.

Door switch, keypad and control repair

  • Inspect latch engagement and control response. A technician assesses safe operation after work on the door system.
